| Scholarship Application for the 2010 The Ohio High School Cup Thank you for your interest in completing the application for the Ohio High School Scholarship. Please be aware that everything that you do from this point on is part of the application, including reading and following directions, spelling, grammar, typos, etc. Prepare before completing the form Before you complete the on-line form, you will need to write a persuasive essay in Microsoft Word (no other format is accepted). It should be at least 300 words, of a personal nature, explain why you are the best candidate to receive a scholarship from the Ohio High School Cup and how you would best represent the sport of soccer at the college level. Once you have written your essay, save it on your computer in a place that you will be able to find easily. Once you submit your profile, you will be asked to upload the essay. If you are not able to find your essay on your computer, you will not be able to go back later nor will you be able to back up during the process. Completing the Application Form When completing the application, PLEASE use proper form (Upper and lower case. Example: "Mark Jones" instead of "mark jones" or "MARK JONES".) Applications submitted in ALL CAPS or all lower case will be assessed lower than those submitted correctly. If you have not written your essay please do so before completing this application! After you submit your personal information, you will be given a screen where you can upload your essay in MS Word format. (no other format will be accepted) You WILL NOT be able to return to your application via your browser's back button once you submit the application, so take your time filling out the form. Do not hit the RETURN or ENTER key until you have completed the form.
